Sage is a beautiful female Carolina Dog mix that we rescued with her 2 siblings (Sitka & Shiloh) from the San Antonio TX shelter. She's about 10 months old and weighs 30 lbs. so she still has some growing to do. She's been spayed, all of her vaccinations have been updated, and she has a coat that is truly unique.
Sage has a great personality and she loves to play with her brother & sister. We're not so sure how she is with cats but she is fine with other dogs. She's headed up to Maine to be fostered with one of our best fosters, so New England - if you're looking for a stunning, head turning female Carolina Dog this just may be the one you've been looking for!!

Ruby - 6 month old female being fostered in NC
Ruby is another puppy from the group of 5 we pulled to safety in NC - and she's a little spitfire! She loves to romp and play until she collapses in a heap of exhausted puppy cuteness! She's around 6 months but on the small side weighing only about 20 lbs. She's currently traveling from NC to FL on vacation with her foster family and her adorable little brother Casper - but she'll be back in NC soon!
We're not too sure about how she is with kitties, she chased her foster's kitties when she first got there so we're thinking a home with no cats might be best for her.
She's going to grow into a beautiful girl now that she's getting proper nutrition and exercise - we think she'll be no more than 40 lbs.
If you'd like to inquire about Ruby, send us an email at savingcarolinadogs@yahoo.com

Nessa - Adopted!!!
This sweet little Carolina Dog mix was just waiting for us to come and rescue her from the Manchester County, TN shelter. This is Nessa who's a very lovable girl we think is less than a year old - she's just a bundle of energy and fun!! We had her foster test her with cats and she was just fine - she loves to play with other dogs and runs like a deer!
She is what we call a 'jumper' though - meaning if she has a fence in front of her, she's going to jump it! So we're looking for a home that does NOT have a fenced yard. This doesn't mean you don't have to be conscientious about where she is - all dogs should have supervision no matter where they are. But we'd like to find an active family that will include her in their activities and will also take her for training classes so she can learn recall and bond with her family.
Nessa is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and she's HW negative. She would love to have a family to entertain and snuggle up on the couch with - maybe that's your family??
If you'd like to know more about Nessa, send us an email at savingcarolinadogs@yahoo.com
Don't let this one slip away - she's a beauty!!

Ranger
ADOPTED!
Seems TX has an abundance of Carolina Dogs and we were lucky enough to be able to save this sweet pup from a shelter where he was on their euthanization list!
We'd like to introduce Ranger a very young Carolina Dog that was adopted out to a family that didn't understand the breed and returned him which put his life in immediate danger. Ranger is only about a year old, male, neutered, housebroken, up to date on all vaccinations and HW negative.
He's currently at a boarding facility with our other rescue, Timber and he gets along very well with other dogs. Ranger LOVES to play with toys and he'd be perfectly fine in a home with children - he's gentle and he just wants to be next to his humans!
He came very close to losing his life and that makes him very special to us - he's got so much more living to do and he's got such a great personality!
Ranger told us that he'd love to find a home to settle down in - so we're asking that you send us an email if you think he might be the right dog for your family - savingcarolinadogs@yahoo.com
Feel free to join our FB group page also - there are updates on all of our rescued dogs and we always have more dogs coming in! You can find the link on our website www.savingcarolinadogs.com
